The towns of gorham and windham, maine partnered to conduct an update to the 1998 little falls-south windham villages master plan. ala was retained as the lead planning and design consultant working in collaboration with north star planning and a steering committee led by the two towns planning and economic development departments.

the plan included a robust public input process utilizing both hybrid, online and in-person listneing sessions, meetings, and community events. the center piece of the public input phase was the summer thursday food truck event in little falls village where the towns and consultant team utilized the weekly event to solicit input and work iteratively through design concepts on key sites.

final recommendations included updates to zoning to permit greater infill potential and flexibility in design within the residential zones to help activate the commercial village core and spur further redevelopment and investment.
