A steeply sloping, open site in one of the last remaining lots, high within a coveted Telluride neighborhood Telluride 51 was carefully planned and designed to maximize extension of living into the outdoors while imposing the lightest impact on the land. ALA was brought on as the Landscape Architect along with a team which included an architect, structural and civil engineers, and contractor. ALA developed plans which sited the building, studied driveway access, views, and outdoor spaces. The project has carried forward over more than three years with final construction estiated to be completed in 2023.
